หลังจากที่ได้แนะนำอัลบัม Songs for Christmas ของ Sufjan Stevens ไปแล้ว วันนี้เลยขอเอา Music Video มาให้ดูกัน ซึ่งก็อยู่ในอัลบัมนี้เช่นกัน และเป็น Music Video ที่แถมไปกับ Box-set ชุดนี้ ดูแล้วก็เข้าบรรยากาศคริสตมาสดีไม่น้อย

หลังจากที่แนะนำ The Fray เป็น Artist of the Week ไปแล้ว ถึงแม้ว่าจะคร่อมอาทิตย์หรือเดือนไปแล้ว ตอนนี้ลองมาดู MV เพลงดังคือ "How To Save a Life" กันดีกว่าครับ ล่าสุดนี่ยังอยุ่ใน Billboard Hot 100 ในอันดับที่ 6 (เคยไปสูงสุดที่อันดับ 3) และสิ่งหนึ่งที่ทำให้เพลงนี้ยังคงอยู่ใน Top 10 ได้อย่างยาวนาน และอยู่ในชาร์ตมาถึง 30 สัปดาห์ ก็เพราะว่าเพลงนี้ได้เข้าถึงจิตใจของผู้ฟังและช่วงนี้ยังได้กระแสของซีรีย์เรื่อง Grey's Anatomy มาเพิ่มกระแสให้เพลงนี้เข้าไปอีก จึงเป็นไปได้ว่าจะสามารถอยู่ในชาร์ตนี้ไปได้อีกหลายสัปดาห์ทีเดียว เอาล่ะ เราลองมาดู MV เพลงนี้และเนื้อเพลงนี้กันเลยครับ

เนื้อเพลงนี้พูดถึงประสบการณ์การติดยาของวัยรุ่นคนหนึ่ง และถึงแม้ว่าจะสามารถผ่านพ้นมันมาได้ แต่ระหว่างทางเขาต้องสูญเสียบางสิ่งบางอย่างไป นั่นคือ มิตรภาพ เพลงนี้ฟังแล้วแตะใจอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อสำหรับคนที่มีประสบการณ์แบบนี้ และนี่อาจจะเป็นเพลงต่อต้านยาเสพติดที่ดีที่สุดในปีนี้ก็เป็นได้

หลังจากที่แนะนำ Leeland เป็น Artist of the Week ไปแล้ว ผมก็ไม่พลาดที่จะนำ Music Video เพลงชื่อเดียวกับอัลบัมคือ Sound of Melodies มาฝากกัน เพลงนี้ผมก็ชอบเหมือนกัน แต่ไม่เท่า Tears of the Saints ใครที่ยังไม่ได้ฟังเพลงของ Leeland ย้อนกลับไปอ่านบทความเมื่อวันอังคารและเข้าไปฟังเพลงของเขาได้ที่ www.myspace.com/leelandmusic ครับ

My Idea Of Heaven - Leigh Nash

"My Idea of Heaven" เป็น Single แรกที่ปล่อยออกมาก่อนที่อัลบัมเต็ม "Blue on Blue" จะวางขายในวันที่ 15 ส.ค. ซึ่งก็คือวันนี้ที่อเมริกา ผมยังไม่ได้ข่าวว่า Solo อัลบัมชุดนี้จะมีการวางขายในเมืองไทยหรือไม่ เพราะมันเป็น Self-title อยู่ในค่าย One Son Records แต่การเปิดตัวในแนวเพลง Adult Comtempory และชื่อเสียงเก่า ๆ ของ Sixpence on the Richer ก็น่าจะทำให้ Single นี้ มีโอกาสฮิตเหมือนกัน

ยังไงต้องลองฟังดูและชม MV ตัวนี้กันว่าจะเสริมความแรงให้กับเพลงได้ขนาดไหน หลังจากที่ทำตลาดเพลงนี้ โดยให้ Source เรามา Remix เพื่อประกวด โดยมีมือ Remix มืออาชีพเป็นคนตัดสิน อย่างที่ได้บอกไว้แล้วเมื่อวานใน Weekly News Feed ซึ่งผมลองฟังผลงานของบางคน ก็ Mix มาใช้ได้ทีเดียว

This House(Music Video) - Edison Glass

นี่คือ Music Video สุดเท่จาก Edison Glass ที่ผมได้แนะนำไปเมื่อวันก่อน โดยในส่วนของ Production ค่อนข้างจะลงทุนมากทีเดียว ดูเป็นมืออาชีพมาก สำหรับการ Animate การ์ตูนแบบ 3D แต่ทำให้เราดูคล้าย ๆ กับ 2D หรือบางซีนจะเหมือนกับทำ Stop Motion เลยทีเดียว ดูในเครดิตแล้ว ก็พบว่านี่อาจจะเป็นผลงานแรกของทีม JT Daly ด้วย ผมว่า MV อันนี้เป็นเหมือน Short Film ที่ดำเนินเรื่องราวต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งก็ทำให้ผมอาจจะต้องติดตามผลงานชิ้นต่อไปของ JT Daly
